A stunningly beautiful ride that starts with a great climb, towards the village of Aggelokastro. It will require an obviously serious effort since the whole uphill part consists 17km and it is split in two climbing segments. In between there is a “false flat” segment of 3km, which offers a chance for the cycling group to recover. In Aggelokastro, one of the most bizarre coffee places in Greece is found. That is one of our highlights on this ride, and a coffee or just a stop there is “compulsory”.
The ride continues with a joyful, downhill part and a stunning coastal road. The tarmac conditions are perfect and the sceneries breathtaking. In 2018, one customers of ours ask us to run a trip for him and his friends. When he cycled on this part, he fell completely in love with the sceneries. Guess what: he job is a director specialised in vehicles commercial films (advertisements). From that point and on this landscape has been featured in more than a dozen commercials. Cool euh?
Back to the cycling aspects of things now. Even though the riders should practice their reserves management techniques, the landscape is so beautiful and tempting, that going fast comes absolutely natural. Will you be able to hold back? If not, you are not to blame 🙂
The end destination is the fishermen town of Ermioni, a great place to finish a ride and enjoy a great meal at one of the traditional restaurants found here.
